The QASC is excited to partner with other local organizations, including the City of Quincy, Adams County, the Great River Economic Development Foundation, and the Industrial Association of Quincy, to pursue the international designation of a “Safe Community” for Quincy and Adams County. This designation will serve as an important tool in the community to attract newcomers to the area, including businesses; attract students to the colleges and universities; and, overall, serves as a reminder of the cooperative efforts in all areas to keep our community safe.
