16th - Safety Observation Report presented by Don Hendrian, ADM Quincy

February
20th - Informational Meeting conducted by Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center. Training modules for the "Night Time Sanitation and Maintenance" personnel will be offered to include Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space Hazards. This informational meeting is free and you do not need to be a safety council member to attend. Call 217-224-0149 for additional information.

March
19th - Roy Haber, Gardner Denver, Inc. will present on "What is record-able on OSHA 300/301"

April
16th - Chuck Johnson, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, with Board Certifications in Counseling and Clinical Supervision, Blessing Hospital, will present on the topic "How To Cope With Stress & Change"

• Effects on safety and performance
• Changing negative attitudes that jeopardize safety
• In what way do under-performing employees affect safety & performance



  May
21st - Brenda Ellingson, Blessing Hospital, will present on the topic "Aging Workforce". "What are some approaches that could help alleviate at least some of the injuries that happen with this employment situation."

18th: Panel discussion on: How To Develop A Safety Culture, presented by members Jerry Holley, Titan Wheel Corporation of Illinois; Darryl Mayton, Prince Agri Products, Inc.; Jim Barringer, The Knapheide Manufacturing Co.
